Cheese Potato Casserole
When you mix cheese and potatoes together, you will get something really delicious, especially when you bake them together in a casserole. Below is a quick recipe for making cheese potato casserole:
Ingredients:
- 4 medium potatoes
- 2 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 2 cans condensed Cream of Mushroom soup
- salt and pepper to taste
- paprika
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (149°C).
2. Fill a pot with enough water then add in the potatoes and boil them until tender.
3. Let them cool down for a while before peeling them and slicing them.
4. In a bowl, add in the milk and cream of mushroom soup. Combine and mix well.
5. Arrange half of the potatoes in a casserole dish then season it with salt and pepper.
6. After that add in half of cup the onions over it and pour in half of the soup mixture then sprinkle in half of the cheese.
7. Add in the remaining potatoes and season it with salt and pepper again.
8. Just like before, add in the remaining onions over it and pour the remaining soup mixture after that before sprinkling the remaining cheese on top.
9. Sprinkle the paprika on top and bake it for 50 minutes or until light brown.
10. Serve and enjoy.
